About your host, Mai Nguyen

Born and raised in Hanoi, I moved to Saigon at the age of 18 then studied abroad, came back and worked in Saigon, left consulting job to be in Hanoi and became a food blogger (Tho Loves Food) and food writer. Travel was a part of my previous job, I traveled to most of Vietnam (both cities and rural areas) and many developed countries. From there, I grew the passion of sharing to everyone about Vietnamese cuisine and culture, about my journey, and listening to journeys of others!

Notes

Please have a proper meal before joining this experience. Drinking tea on an empty stomach can upset your stomach and cause you to lose appetite. For people who rarely drink tea, if you drink tea on an empty stomach or drink too much tea in a short time, then it would be easier for you to suffer from the “tea drunk”. The symptoms for tea drunk can be varying degrees of heart palpitations, dizziness, nausea, weakness in the limbs and so on.
